One last time in 2009

Today I went to the Ogden Temple. I was not alone, it seems many individuals wanted to spend some time in the temple, on this the last day of 2009. I was able to complete the initiatory and endowment work for ONE of my distant cousins.

The temple closed after the 12pm session, so I will need to go back on Saturday to complete the sealing of Lillian, to her husband Leslie.

Attending the Temple

In 2008, I was called "officially" to be a Temple Patron. President Clemens asked me if I could commit to attending the temple MORE than I was currently. I was attending one a month, and so I committed to attend twice a month.

This past year, our Stake (Morgan Utah Stake) has put a great emphasis on increasing spirituality, through increased temple attendance. I decided to step it up a notch.

I work (4) 10 hour days, and use my Friday off to attend the temple. From the first week in September, until the first week in December (2009), I was able to attend EVERY WEEK. Also during this time, I became involved in the NEW FAMILY SEARCH, and have been able to take my OWN family names to the temple. It has been a wonderful experience.
