Families can be together FOREVER

Today I was able to attend an endowment session with my good friend, Teresa Rhodes. We did the work for Anna Arnolda Koosen and Oltze Stavannar. This was in preparation for the their sealings to their spouses, which will be done tonight by members of the Morgan 6th Ward (my ward). Most of the families which I have been working on since November, will have their families made eternal tonight. It's a great feeling.

Landon also was able to attend the temple this morning, doing initiatory work for the short time he had between college classes and work meetings.

I forgot to mention that the Morgan Singles Ward (10th ward) asked me to provide some baptism names for them last week. I was able to send approx 10-15 names. The work goes on !

Finally - it was found :)

We traveled to Arizona to visit Amanda and Cam in Mesa, and mom and dad in Yuma. On the way down and back we stopped in Las Vegas, and I found out MUCH to my dismay, that I couldn't find the temple in the dark! I drove around for an hour, looking for Bonanza Drive, but no luck :( My Tom Tom was no help either, because I had the WRONG address plugged in.

On the way back from AZ, I was able to find the temple(after perusing an actual map). As it turns out, I was only TWO block from Bonanza, (going North on Nellis), when I gave up and turned around two nights previous.

Anyway, all's well that ends well, and I was able to attend an endowment session for my ancestor, Free Temger. I was alert and attentive, and so excited to get in the temple, that I completely forgot my clothing in the car, and had to rent :)

The Las Vegas temple is beautiful in the muted pinks and mauves (desert colors), but in the early morning (before sunrise), the blue was showing through the beautiful windows in the Celestial Room. I had never noticed that color before. It was a wonderful way to spend an early morning.

A day with Landon

Landon and I participated in an endowment session today. I was proxy for one of Susan Wiscombe's relatives, and Landon was proxy for one of ours. It's always a wonderful, peaceful day in the temple, and I was grateful to share it with Landon.

Kind words

A gentleman came in to my work yesterday, and thanked me for the names I had submitted to the temple. He and his wife have been going to the Ogden Temple to do initiatory work, and they always check at the Family Name File, under Morgan Stake to see if there are names. I am so HAPPY. I was worried that the male names were piling up under initiatory, and wouldn't be ready for our ward temple night endowments next week. No worries !

I felt peace

Today in the temple was wonderful. I spent over 4 hours there. Our ward is working on getting initiatory work done this week, and when I went to the family name file, there were only 2 left to do from our ward, so they gave me those and 8 others from a woman in Clearfield. It seems I did the work for a whole family of sisters in the Minner family. Afterward I didn't want to leave, so I completed an Endowment for one of my relatives. I felt such peace as I sat in the Celestial Room afterward. This is what I had come for, and I wasn't disappointed.

It is done..........

Today I returned to the temple to complete the sealing of wife to husband. Now their children can be sealed to them by another cousin.

I also did initiatory work for seven more of my distant cousins.... One woman's name was Free Temger. I like that name. These cousins were from Holland, England, Rhode Island, Ireland.......
