We are a Forever Family

We are a Forever Family
December 12, 1987
Our family was sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple. Our oldest daughter Ambure, was there in spirit. She had died 9 years previously in a car accident at the age of 10 months. Our children on earth, Amanda and Zachary, were 7 and 6 years old, and I was pregnant with our youngest son, Landon, who would join our family in July 1988.
I believe in covenants, and I believe the Lord is MERCIFUL, and there will be NO empty chairs.

I attended the open house (2009), the dedication, and also enjoyed a session here with my good friend Sherilee.

Our Idaho nieces have been married in this temple, we attended Sommer's wedding here in 2004.

I was in this temple in 1981 during the openhouse. Zac was only 1 month old, and I carried him in my arms.

I have visited this temple 5-6 times, beginning in 2009. As we travel to Arizona to visit Manda and family, we usually stop in LV, and I will make the time to attend.

I consider this MY temple. I try and visit here weekly. I remember when I was a little girl in the late 60's, donating MY money to the budget to build this temple.

I've only been here once (2009) while I was attending meetings for my work in Provo. It is adjacent to the MTC, and the missionaries attend here.

I usually try and attend a session during November of each year while attending UAC meetings. I also was able to see one of my YW, Candace Montanessi sealed here in January 2007.

We traveled to Vernal for Landon's junior high wrestling (2002), and I took some time to attend an endowment session. This small temple used to be a tabernacle.

Landon and I were able to visit this temple while we were on a church history tour right before his mission (2007). The stained glass windows are spectacular.
